About the Journal
Eirene Studies of Peace and Conflicts is an online publication with biannual frequency dedicated to disseminating research findings on peace and conflicts with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of the culture of peace. From the investigation of conflict and its nature, to peace and its evolution, the promotion of peace education, and the study of human rights, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and other related areas and disciplines, it seeks to contribute to the dissemination of basic and applied knowledge in a transdisciplinary environment that allows us to approach the study of peace and conflicts from various scientific perspectives, thus strengthening existing theoretical frameworks and generating new proposals through the application of knowledge in social research.
Eirene Studies of Peace and Conflicts is aimed at researchers, educators, and members of the academic-scientific community interested in the epistemological, anthropological, and ontological approaches that converge in the study of human relationships in terms of peace and the nature of conflict as an inherent element of human beings, leveraging the advantages of multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity in these dimensions.
Eirene Studies of Peace and Conflicts has the vision of becoming one of the most important open-access scientific journals in Latin America, entering the most important scientific indexes, and thereby facilitating access to an online platform for the dissemination of high-impact research that contributes to the understanding of peace and conflicts as essential dimensions for the understanding of the human being.
The editorial board of the Eirene journal acknowledges PhDs Paris A. Cabello Tijerina and Reyna L. Vázquez Gutiérrez as the founders and driving forces behind this outstanding journal.
