Abstract

The study analyzes the impact of economic determinants on the consolidation of labor peace in Nuevo León, Mexico, a region characterized by its high industrial activity and productive diversity. It is based on the hypothesis that fair economic conditions, such as decent wages, job stability, access to benefits, and opportunities for professional development, strengthen the perception of harmony in the workplace and reduce conflict among workers. Using a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design, structured surveys were administered to a representative sample of unionized workers from various industrial sectors. The data were processed using SPSS statistical software, applying descriptive analyses and Pearson correlations. The results show that wage equity, investment in welfare programs, and continuous training are significantly associated with higher levels of perceived labor peace. These findings highlight the importance of economic factors as key elements for promoting collaborative, sustainable labor relations oriented toward the common good. Consequently, the study emphasizes the need to strengthen public and organizational policies that prioritize economic justice as the foundation of a stable and productive environment. The value of this research lies in providing empirical evidence from the strategic context of Nuevo León, confirming that economic justice not only enhances productivity but also serves as an essential pillar for stability and cooperation in the contemporary workplace.
