Keywords:
Epistemology, Science, Mediation, Peace, ADRAbstract
Mediation has a theoretical construct that helps to clearly and precisely understand the behavior that
this Dispute Resolutions has in daily life, however, within this work, this condition has a teleological
function to that established in a colloquial way. In other words, mediation as a source of pacifying
conflicts has a first moment called professionalization, based on the ADR, which lead to conflict
management in order to generate a culture of peace. On the other hand, this situation would not be
possible without stopping to analyze the epistemology of mediation from three vertices, seen from the
end that mediation seeks, its normalization (establish in the law) and the effectiveness of mediation
towars manage conflicts.
