Keywords:
minority, majority, violence, hatred culture, interculturality, peace cultureAbstract
This essay aims to inquire into the violent relationships that take place between minority communities
of a specific society and the rest of its population, which constitutes the cultural majority. At the
same time, this essay seeks to find the roots of this violence, which is applied by a certain population
against one or several groups of its own. Then, this article presents a definition of the hatred culture, in
addition to a brief introduction to its elements. After that, the concept of interculturality is explained,
as an alternative to the hatred culture. Finally, this essay proposes a series of conclusions that are seen
as necessary to achieve intercultural peace in modern societies.
