Adolescence represents a crucial stage for emotional and social development, especially in vulnerable contexts marked by violence, inequality, and structural deprivation. This article analyzes psychological well-being as a foundation for peacebuilding among adolescents, integrating theoretical approaches such as the PERMA model from Positive Psychology and the Positive Youth Development (PYD) framework. Based on a theoretical and empirical review, key protective factors are identified, including resilience, self-concept, emotional regulation, social connectedness, and healthy lifestyle habits. The article also delves into the impact of adverse contexts on youth mental health and proposes a comprehensive intervention model with emotional, relational, school, and community components. Practical strategies are recommended, such as restorative circles, forgiveness programs, mentoring, and purpose-driven youth projects that promote agency, empathy, and reconciliation. Well-being is not only an individual goal but also a path to transforming conflict-prone environments and fostering cultures of peace from within youth communities. This work offers conceptual and practical tools for educators and community stakeholders interested in promoting peaceful coexistence and sustainable human development through a strengths-based approach.
