Mutual recognition and social justice for all are required as inherent elements in the goals of a culture of peace, positive peace, and non-violence. This research, resulting from a documentary review with a qualitative approach, aimed to analyze the contributions of the 3R method—Reconstruction, Reconciliation, and Resolution of conflicts—as components that, in addition to being implicitly considered part of a process associated with peaceful coexistence, are needed as a response to the requirements of the so-called "possible world." The results and discussion indicate that human coexistence in the future depends significantly on the eradication of intransigent, rigid, and opposing positions to sustainable understanding, which requires the construction of functional interpersonal relationships in which the common horizon is the intelligent and rational management of contradictions, the treatment of historical differences transmitted from generation to generation, and the suppression of fundamentalisms in favor of possibilities for understanding, in which the emphasis of humanity revolves around the willingness to be flexible in negotiating and building scenarios interwoven by common principles that, together with the availability for dialogue, give rise to empathetic treatment that serves as an attenuating factor for emerging multifactorial conflict. In conclusion, the possible world can only be built from the unification of synergistic efforts around a deep and empathetic understanding of the multiplicity of worldviews, pluralisms, and diverse positions, which must be addressed through the creation of bonds of respect, recognition, and trust that revitalize the social fabric.
