Conciliation is a method of peaceful conflict resolution, which has been introduced as a human right since 2008 in Mexico with the reform of Article 17 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, allowing family conciliation in divorce proceedings to be a more beneficial way in terms of emotional, economic and time than judicial proceedings, achieving an atmosphere of peace between spouses and their children. The objective of this research is focused on knowing the scope of conciliation in divorce proceedings favoring its benefits, from a national and international perspective. A deductive-inductive method was used with empirical approach techniques with legal and documentary analysis. It is concluded that there is an incorrect diffusion of conciliation both in the Judicial Power and in the postulant lawyers and that it can be applied to benefit the population through the satisfaction of needs to achieve peace.
