: Sport is an activity with an international presence and popularity. For the sports presence to be successful, an efficient organizational infrastructure operated from the sports management area is required to achieve the objectives. However, it is necessary to consider that unforeseen events may arise within sport that generate uncertainty in the organizational operation. It should also be identified that there are conflicts in sport, and it is important to know and study them to manage them from the first stage and thereby achieve the prevention of episodes of violence, as well as avoid going to court to resolve them. Sports mediation must become a tool that contributes to the peaceful resolution of conflicts and for this it is necessary to incorporate it into the strategic planning of sports organizations, through education and training for sports actors, as well as incorporation of centers for the resolution of conflicts in sports matters that allow solving conflicts within organizations, also providing an area of employment opportunity for sports professionals in the workplace.
