This paper analyzes the social stability and justice in Latin America, exposing the reception in their
countries of normative regulation of mediation procedures; a system used in the People’s Republic
of China as a guarantor of social stability, based on a genuine institution of this Asian country, the
Great Mediation, whose study can serve as a model for the creation of citizen justice policies in Latin
America.
