Open Access Policy

Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos provides immediate open access to all its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge. Therefore, the journal does not charge fees for the processing of articles (No APC) nor does it charge fees for the publication of this ones.

Open Science Compliance
According to the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, Open Science is defined as “an inclusive construct that combines diverse movements and practices, with the aim of making multilingual scientific knowledge openly available and accessible to all, as well as reusable by all, increasing scientific collaborations and information exchange for the benefit of science and society” (UNESCO. 2021).

Eirene Estudios de Paz y Conflictos is a scientific journal that follows the principles of the international Open Access movement established in Budapest (BOAI, 2002), Berlín (2003) y Bethesda (2003); thus, the journal's publications meet the Diamond Access criteria.


Eirene Peace and Conflict Studies supports this movement by gradually promoting the availability of the data or set of materials underlying published articles in Data Repositories.
